How to link Google Home

Control your eWeLink smart home devices with Google Assistant through your Google Home speaker. This guide walks you through the setup process from preparation to voice control.
1. Preparation
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- Download the latest Google Home app on your phone.
- Sign up and log in to your Google account, then add your Google Home speaker.

2. Account Linking
Follow these steps to link your eWeLink account with Google Home:
Step 1. Open the eWeLink app and log in to your account.

Step 2. Tap the "+" button on the home page's button bar and select "Link Accounts" on the next page.

Step 3. Choose "Google Home" from the list of third-party platforms, then select "Link" and "Link with Google Assistant".

Step 4. Review the Notices section, then tap "Link" to proceed.

Step 5. You will be taken to the Google Home app to select the eWeLink devices you want to sync. Configure the devices' information, including which home they belong to and their location.

3. Control Devices with Google Home Speaker
Device Naming Tips
Make sure the device name is in English, and avoid special characters or unusual signs. Use simple, clear names like Bedroom lamp, Coffee switch, My switch, etc.
Voice Command Instructions
Use "Hey Google" or "OK Google" to wake up your Google Home speaker. When you speak to it, you will see the lights on your Google Home speaker blinking, which means the speaker is responding.
For example: "Hey Google, turn on my light."
Common Voice Commands
Here are some useful voice commands for reference:
- "Hey Google, turn on all of the lights."
- "Hey Google, turn off all of the lights."
- "Hey Google, set light to 50%."
- "Hey Google, turn off the bedroom light."
