Quick Pairing (WiFi)

Add your smart device to eWeLink using Quick Pairing mode with a 2.4GHz WiFi network.

Please set the device into pairing mode

Choose a 2.4GHz WiFi for device pairing and enter the right password.

If your 2.4GHz WiFi and 5GHz WiFi share the same WiFi SSID, you're recommended to change your router settings or try compatible pairing mode.

Only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. See: Check your WiFi Band.

Supports adding WiFi and Bluetooth devices.

Steps

  1. Open the eWeLink app and tap "Add Device".
  2. Select your 2.4GHz WiFi network and enter the password.
  3. Check "Remember password" if you want to save the password for future pairing.
  4. Tap "Next" to start pairing.

At the bottom of the screen, you can also access:

  • Compatible Pairing — Use this if quick pairing fails.
  • More Options — Access additional pairing methods like Bluetooth Pairing, Sound Pairing, and more.
